We have very high standards for our babies in that we are always striving to find better ways to care for them. Our babies never leave our care without visiting our Veterinary Hospital for an all around check up. They are always up to date on whatever shots they need for their age and even though our stool samples always come back negative we still have the Vet give them a wormer for good measure.

"Trinny wants you all to know that you might want to get your coffee before going any further, lol, because she clearly thinks it is boring!"
The information below is simply our experience and preferences (which mostly means the cats preferences, if you know what I mean, lol) We have included it, not to put you to sleep, but to share with you what we have learned and how we feel about the following issues.
Nutrition:
Nutrition is extremely important to us, and it should be to you too. If our feline family is not fed the proper balance of food for their nutritional needs then later down the road it can lead to unwanted health problems. For example, if you feed your cat only canned food then you are compromising their dental health which can lead to gingivitis, tooth decay and even tooth loss. On the other hand if you feed only dry food it is said that later down the road other much worse health problems can occur such as the dreaded renal failure, or urinary tract issues and other terrible things that can threaten to take your loved one from you. So we are always looking into the best nutritional choices for our babies, not just for our piece of mind, but for yours too. Currently we are feeding a mix of Chicken Soup for the Kitten Lover's Soul dry food and Healthwise Cat N Kitten dry food. We feed a mix, because this not only ensures that our babies are getting everything possible for their nutritional needs, but also we hope that you will at least be able to obtain one of these foods for your new little family member. We also feed Innova EVO Cat N Kitten canned food or in a pinch 9Lives any tuna only variety because this is the only main stream canned food that I have found to contain no by-products and the first ingredient is actually tuna!
Cat Litter:
We take our litter pretty seriously too, because a lot of the litters on the market are not good for our babies at all so we use Swheat Scoop cat litter and we love it! Not only is it completely safe for the kittens to digest (yes this is usually the first thing that a kitten does with litter), but there are not harmful chemicals for them to breath in either.
TLC Information:
Health care goes beyond, shots, vet visits, food and litter though! We have a cat tree in both of our nurseries, one for Simon, one big one in the living room and a nice screened in porch so that our babies have plenty of places to scratch, climb, hide, and just lounge around on. We also have several feathers on a stick type toys for bonding time and to make sure that they are getting the exercise needed for their happiness and well being. For good measure we have only the best catnip to entice them with and to make our babies extra happy we give them Whiskas Temptations, which is just for the pleasure of seeing the stampede, lol.
