Siamese of Blessed Be Cattery

Applehead Siamese just can't be beat

From Shirley Shuman of Shadow Stalkers Cattery:

I have known John and Chantel from the very beginning of their plans to start Blessed Be, We exchanged e-mails and phone calls on a regular basis, offering My advice on the methods I used to get My Cattery "Shadow Stalkers" started from the details of joining a registry, how to go about planning a web-site, in the years that followed, they have established an excellent reputation with top quality Kittens from superior foundation bloodlines, I feel very privileged to own one of their fine Siamese as a breeding stud that compliments My Queens and His name is "Blessed Be Neo II of Shadow Stalkers", from the  moment I picked Him up at the Air Port as A young Kitten, He had the "cuddle Me" personality, made Himself an instant bed partner, loved to lay in My lap, flat on His back watching TV with Me, He has a fabulous private Stud House now with plenty of climbing ramps and oodles of Toys, but He still is My Big Cuddle Man, He passes this wonderful disposition too, on His Kittens, I have kept one of His Daughters as a future Queen, and She is wonderful, Her name is Mesa.
I give their Cattery a five star rating, if You are thinking about adding a Traditional "Applehead" Kitten to your home.
    Sincerely, Shirley Shuman of
Shadow Stalkers, My web-site and e-mail

Merlin & Milo's Parents : )

Hello, my name is Patti.  I received the email from Chantel regarding Siamese Cats from a breeder versus from a pet store.  I must say that I have a cat bought from a pet store as a kitten.  I also have 2 Siamese that I purchased from Blessed Be at different times.  We purchased Merlin first and were so impressed with him that we later went back and purchased another Siamese.  His name is Milo and he is Merlin's baby brother from the same parents but a later litter then Merlin is from.

There is absolutely no comparison between a store bought kitten and one from a breeder.  The 2 Siamese that we have are our first pets from a breeder and they are the most wonderful pets you can get. Our store bought cat while much loved, is not socialable with us or the other cats.  She is standoffish, a loner, will rarely come to you for affection, and very aloof.   The cats bought from a breeder, especially the breeders who let them roam in the facility versus the ones that keep them caged up, are well mannered, very affectionate, completely socialized to people, other pets, noises in the home such as a washer and dryer, etc.

I can't say enough good things about our Siamese bought from a breeder vs. our store bought cat.  While each and every one of our pets is loved and spoiled there is definitely something different about the 2 from the breeders.

I found Blessed Be on the internet.  We had our original Siamese cat for 17 years but he eventually succumbed to kidney failure.  While we miss him dearly and think about him everyday, we do truly love our new boys from Blessed Be.  We have often thought about getting another Siamese from there but are concerned about having enough time to give them all adequate lovins.  I would not hesitate to purchase a Siamese from Blessed Be.  We are planning on using them again in the future if the need or desire for additional Siamese comes up.

I know Chantel well, and  my experience with her has always been a positive one.  I did check their references out with their vet and they do everything they say they do.  The kittens are vaccinated, etc.  I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about Blessed Be or Chantel.  They are wonderful people who are helping to keep the traditional Siamese breed going.

If you are concerned about their trustworthiness, or quality of cat, do not hesitate because we had never bought a cat from a breeder before either.  Now, we would never even consider purchasing one from a pet store again.  If you are looking for a "real" lifetime companion I would not think twice about getting a Siamese from a breeder.

Please be assured that I am not related to, neighbors to, or receive any type of monetary compensation for references that I give out for Blessed Be.  I will give you a little bit of my background.  I am an RN and I have been married 20 years.  I am going to give you my phone number and if you would like to call me for any additional questions that you may have or email me that would be fine with me.  I live near the Ohio and Indiana border in Van Wert.  I am near Fort Wayne, Indiana and Lima, OH.
